Job summary

United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut Inc. seeks an Educational & Curriculum Manager to coach family child care providers toward CDA credentialing and NAFCC accreditation.

You will manage a coaching caseload, adapt curriculum for a bilingual immigrant population, and own the network's curriculum with data-driven improvements. The role blends early childhood education expertise with business-like operations in homes, requiring consistent presence, relationship-building, and translating

Qualifications

• Educational coaching with adults and providers
• Experience designing/adapting curricula for adult learners
• Substantive knowledge of family child care practices
• Comfort with in-home coaching in diverse communities

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 coaching using a structured model to accreditation-track providers
• Manage coaching caseload and scheduling across providers
• Guide providers through CDA and NAFCC processes from start to finish
• Design and deliver bilingual training aligned with standards
• Own and maintain curriculum resources and translate materials as needed
• Document coaching cycles and track provider progress in data systems
• Coordinate with partner organizations on bilingual co-facilitation and content
