Job summary

hcaoa-careers is seeking an Area Care Tech to support clients when regular staff are unavailable. You’ll promote continuity of care across multiple homes, assisting with daily activities and monitoring client well‑being.

The role suits experienced caregivers or CNAs who value variety, autonomy, and a compassionate approach, including travel to assigned client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Active CNA or PCA license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance and clean background check.
• Willingness to travel to client homes.

• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation.

As an ACT, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care across multiple clients and locations. Your responsibilities include:

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in client condition
• Responding quickly to client needs in various homes across assigned areas

What We’re Looking For:

• Age 18 or older
• Active CNA or PCA license (preferred) OR Willing to become PCA.
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Willingness to travel to client homes as needed
