Job summary

Home Helpers of AR is seeking an Area Care Tech (ACT) to support clients when regular staff are unavailable. This role provides variety, flexibility, and a chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple client locations.

Ideal candidates are experienced caregivers or CNAs who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about top-quality care. Travel to client homes is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Active CNA or PCA license (preferred) OR Willing to become PCA.
• Valid driver's license + reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance.
• Clean background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel to client homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming
• Supporting safe mobility and transfers
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in client condition
• Responding quickly to client needs in various homes across assigned areas

Skills
