Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will monitor quality of care, implement care plan changes, conduct patient and family rounding, and support daily unit operations to maintain safe staffing ratios.

The role requires current Maine RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and one year of acute care or critical care experience. Shift is days; pay is per shift with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year in acute care; critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Monitors supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.
