Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will monitor care quality, adjust care plans for patient safety, and participate in family rounds to improve the patient experience.

The role requires a state RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and CCU experience. Responsibilities include staffing, supervision, and coordination across departments to ensure safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as staff nurse in an acute care hospital; CCU setting preferred.
• BVP certification within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises and coaches staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
