Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will monitor quality of care, implement care plans, and participate in rounding to improve patient experience, while ensuring staffing and safety on the unit.

The ideal candidate holds a state RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of acute/critical care nursing. The role offers day shifts, weekly pay, and support from dedicated career specialists.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in acute care hospital; critical care setting required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.
