Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will monitor care quality, adjust immediate care plans, and perform rounding to enhance patient experiences while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Must have active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and CCU experience.

Weekly pay and supportive team environment offered. This role emphasizes staffing management, collaboration with departments, and supervision of staff as needed

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; CCU experience required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.
