Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role requires current RN licensure in the state, BLS and ACLS, with CCU experience preferred.

You will monitor care, adjust care plans, and lead rounding to improve patient safety and experience. Weekly pay and strong support from dedicated specialists accompany a flexible, career-minded opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital; CCU experience required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Education

Current and valid state RN

BLS (AHA) certification

ACLS (AHA) certification

1 year staff nurse in acute care hospital setting; CCU experience

Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate
