Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse to support the Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine. The role offers Day shifts, a 12-week assignment, and per-shift compensation.

Candidates must hold an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least one year in an acute care setting; CCU experience preferred. Viable long-term opportunities exist with our partner facilities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
