Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Day shifts available with pay up to $624-$720 gross per shift (roughly $52-$60/hour).

This role requires a valid state RN license, BLS and ACLS at hire, at least one year in acute care with critical care experience, and a Behavioral Violence Prevention certificate within 6 months. Weekly pay and dedicated support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care experience required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Education

State RN license

BLS (AHA) certification

ACLS (AHA) certification

Acute care/CCU experience

BVP certification within 6 months
