Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for CCU on the night shift in Beckley, WV. This in-person role requires an active RN license and a strong commitment to patient care.

The CCU team provides hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and critical care support with cross-disciplinary staff. New grads encouraged to apply and participate in a residency program.

Qualifications

• Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.

• Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

The CCU team consists of highly skilled critical care nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary support staff dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Services include hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, cardiac drips, emergency response stabilization, and post-intensive procedural care. The unit is committed to promoting optimal patient outcomes while supporting patients and families through critical and complex healthcare situations.

How you'll contribute

ARegistered Nurse, RNwho excels in this role:

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferrednew grads encouraged to apply and will be supported through our 1 year residency program
• ASLS certification preferred
