Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Residency RN for the Transition to Practice Program. This program supports new graduates and experienced RNs transitioning to hospital settings, offering classroom instruction and hands-on clinical hours with expert preceptors.

You’ll develop nursing practice with competence, autonomy, and purpose, learning to assess, plan, coordinate, and delegate care while collaborating to improve quality, patient experience, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five years from the initial date of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate nursing functions across the lifespan of individuals, families, caregivers, and populations
• Utilize the nursing process for nursing care and health teaching in maintenance and promotion of health or prevention of illness
• Function interdependently when executing a medical regimen under the direction of a physician
• Collaborate towards improving quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

MSN / PhD / DNP / ARNP preferred
