Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Security Systems Installation Technician to lead site management and installation of CCTV, access control, and related security technologies for new and existing clients. You will work with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure on-time, compliant deployments.

You will maintain tools and company vehicles, produce clear documentation, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Must communicate clearly with customers and co‑workers.
• Ability to use MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to follow installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.
