Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners Ashley location is seeking a CCE Salesperson to sell John Deere compact construction equipment and related attachments. You will build lasting customer relationships, manage leads, and coordinate delivery and training for customers in a full-time role.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with CRM systems. Travel within the local territory and occasional evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Strong understanding of retail sales processes and customer service.
• Knowledge of John Deere or similar equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with computers, CRM systems, and mobile technology.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather; standing/walking for long periods.
• Full-time position with some evenings and weekends during peak seasons.
• Travel within local sales territory; valid driver’s license a must.
• Willing to obtain CDL A.

Responsibilities

• Sells the full line of John Deere CCE equipment and related products.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment features, benefits, and financing options.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers; conducts follow-ups for satisfaction.
• Executes proactive sales process: lead gen, walk-ins, and outbound contacts.
• Supports marketing by participating in events, open houses, and clinics.
• Uses CRM and dealership systems to track interactions and quotes.
• Coordinates delivery, setup, and operation training for customers.
• Partners with Service and Parts to ensure after-sale support.
• Stays informed on local market trends and competition.
• Provides input into inventory and stocking plans.
