Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Knowledge of John Deere or similar equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Sells the full line of John Deere CCE equipment and related products.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment features, benefits, and financing/leasing options.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers, including follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
• Executes a proactive sales process: lead generation, walk-in traffic management, and outbound contacts.
• Supports dealership marketing by participating in field events, open houses, and clinics.
• Uses CRM and dealership systems to track customer interactions, sales activities, and quotes.
• Coordinates equipment delivery, setup, and operation training for customers.
• Partners with Service and Parts to ensure seamless after-sale support.
• Stays informed on local market trends and competitive activity.
• Provides input into inventory needs and stocking plans.
