Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic Deployment Manager for its Oakland, CA site. You will oversee CBTC deployment activities, coordinating with Hitachi Rail teams and clients to ensure milestones are met and projects progress safely and efficiently.

You will lead planning reviews, manage subcontractors, and report progress to the Project Manager and VP of Construction, while upholding stringent safety and quality standards throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering or industrial management background.
• CBTC knowledge and rail/transportation project experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment phase of CBTC project, ensuring timely implementation.
• Coordinate with Hitachi Rail teams and stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Review project activity planning to identify priorities and milestones.
• Provide project status reviews to client and serve as primary client contact for deployment activities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Represent project at site coordination meetings with client and stakeholders.
• Report progress, risks and deviations to Project Manager and VP of Construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance requirements.
• Monitor construction activities to uphold Hitachi and subcontractor quality standards.
