Job summary

Compass Health Center, located in Northbrook, IL, seeks a qualified Group Therapist to lead supervised, evidence-based group therapies (CBT/DBT) for patients in PHP/IOP settings. This role emphasizes collaborative care within a team and involves crisis management, treatment planning, and EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate is a psychologist or master's level clinician with licensure or eligibility (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, PsyD, or PhD). Prior experience in related settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois (LSW/LPC/LCSW/LCPC, PsyD or PhD).
• Experience delivering evidenced-based group therapies (CBT/DBT).
• Experience in partial hospitalization or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group therapy to patients in a safe, therapeutic milieu.
• Develop therapeutic relationships to promote positive change.
• Utilize CBT and DBT and other evidenced-based therapies.
• Relay clinical information during rounds and to the treatment team.
• Develop program materials and adjust content for group needs.
• Engage in crisis management as needed.
• Create and update treatment plans.
• Chart in the EMR system.
• May meet with patients individually for case management.
• All other duties as assigned.
