Job summary

Rogers Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions within our treatment programs in Madison, WI. You will assess behavior functions, design and implement tailored behavior plans, and train patients and support persons while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes supervision, documentation, and ongoing adjustments to care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes in residential and related settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) required for Addiction Recovery programs.
• CBT experience (12 months preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups according to clinical standards of care.
• Participate in supervision sessions with Clinical leader and adjust care plans based on progress.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust as needed in consultation with the Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services and maintain timely medical records.
• Assist in development of treatment plans within multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide training to direct care staff and educate parents/support persons on CBT interventions.
