Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Surge Support - CBRN Support Specialist to provide operations, administrative and logistics coordination for the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP). The role supports surge deployments, NSSE, and detection missions across CONUS/OCONUS, requiring travel, extended hours, 24/7 shift work, and recall during contingencies.

Position located at Portland, OR, among other sites nationwide; candidates must meet stringent CBRN, security, and writing requirements and be able to carry

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of operational experience in CBRN or related fields.
• Knowledgeable about radiation detection equipment and related tools.
• Experience in logistics, planning, analysis, and data management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficient with MS Office and government documentation formatting.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations, administrative, and logistics coordination for MDDP.
• Develop deployment plans and tailored strategies for local contexts.
• Interface with DHS toolsets (ArcGIS, HSIN) to support data management.
• Manage MDDP tasking systems, requests, and deployment data.
• Support policy documents, SOPs, and training materials.
• Identify training requirements and document training/exercise plans.
• Administer MDDP property management and inventory; travel as needed.
• Contribute to CONOPs and other operational support products.
