Job summary

MedSrv, LLC is seeking an Insurance Follow-up Representative to manage insurance claims, denials, and payer communications from a remote location. You will review, post, and rebill as needed, and help resolve issues to speed claim resolution.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and about one year of related experience; you will work from home with a supportive team, aiming for accuracy, timely denials management, and professional collaboration with providers and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have the ability to get along with others in a close office setting.
• Must work efficiently at home meeting requirements.
• Must have the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to function and cooperate as member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct claims in work queues and rebill or appeal as needed within set timelines.
• Communicate with insurance payers, providers, and patients to resolve disputes and ensure accurate claim processing.
• Research missing payments and post them to the correct accounts.
• Handle claim issues such as tertiary billing, W9 requests, WC/MVA claims, refunds, duplicate charges, and out-of-network verification.
• Coordinate with practices to request or provide necessary corrections.
• Track and report denial or payment trends to management.
• Meet productivity and performance goals within 90 days of employment.
