Job summary

BAMSI is hiring an Intake Coordinator to serve as the central entry point for referrals into our CBHI programs in Brockton, MA. You will review referrals for eligibility, contact families to explain services, and coordinate insurance and data reporting, ensuring timely access to care.

The role requires a Master’s in a Human Services field and at least two years’ experience with youth and families facing behavioral health challenges. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Human Services or related field required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with youth and families with behavioral health needs.
• Experience navigating child- and family-serving systems.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CBHI Intake Coordinator, central entry point for referrals.
• Review, process and triage referrals based on eligibility.
• Contact families to explain services and obtain consent.
• Monitor referrals, manage email system, logs, and waitlists.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate with billing.
• Collaborate with teams on reporting and data accuracy.
