Job summary

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. in Chicopee, MA is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the CBHI program. The role oversees clinical evaluations, treatment planning, and supervision of staff and interns to maintain high-quality client care.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with community services, and lead educational initiatives for clinical staff to strengthen service delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work.
• Three years as a licensed therapist with at least one year supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical evaluations and treatment of children and families.
• Document activities according to RVCC and CBHI standards.
• Summarize findings and treatment plans per RVCC procedures for case disposition.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings (UR).
• Ensure staff stays updated on community services and referrals.
• Oversee outreach, advocacy, or case consultations as needed.
• Prepare for and participate in regular supervision of staff and interns.
• Oversee supervision and training of student interns.
• Analyze services to improve quality and maximize staff utilization.
• Plan and deliver staff education, including mandatory trainings.
