Job summary

Department of Family and Protective Services in Texas seeks a CBC Community-Based Care Quality Assurance Oversight Specialist. You will collaborate with SSCC and vendors to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and lead quality assurance activities.

The role requires advanced QA, monitoring, and analytic work, plus providing expert CPS program guidance and training to field staff and management.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four year college or university.
Knowledge of Texas and Federal laws relating to Child Protective Services.
Ability to read technical narratives and interpret CPS policy.

Responsibilities

Evaluates program performance through case readings, reports, and observations to ensure policy compliance.
Prepares management reports and correspondence on program effectiveness.
Implements guidelines, procedures, rules, and monitors policy adherence.
Develops program goals and provides training or technical assistance.
Develops and conducts presentations for communities and staff.
Directs the case review process and tracks quality assurance activities.
Reports on quality trends and recommends improvement actions.
