Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks experienced aviation maintenance personnel to perform O-Level tasks on T/M/S aircraft and associated systems. You will support flight line activities, assist with ordnance handling, and direct junior technicians to complete maintenance actions.

The role requires a five-year O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 background, three years on T/M/S platforms, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Candidates with CDI/CDQAR experience and strong leadership will stand out.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 experience.
  • Minimum 3 years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Aviation Ordnance experience considered.
  • CDI or CDQAR experience required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Experience with generators, load banks, starters, relays and related systems.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems. Perform flight line essential services as directed to daily Flight Schedule. Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required. Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds’ load share per team member, in accordance with standard USN procedures.

Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required to accomplish maintenance tasking in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions (responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts). Shall receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.

Qualifications
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Shall have minimum of five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
  • Shall have minimum 3 years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain.
  • Aviation Ordnance candidates experience shall be minimum five years O-Level experience.
  • Shall have T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain, with the last two years.
  • Experience as T/M/S CDI or CDQAR is required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Experienced in maintaining their assigned specific T/M/S aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, weapons release and control checks, aircraft conventional weapons load team member, aircraft conventional weapons load team leader, aircraft communications and navigation system and aircraft instruments.
  • Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications.
