Job summary

V2X is seeking an Aircraft Electronics Technician III to maintain generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers and weapons load systems on assigned aircraft. Heavy lifting over 50lbs is required to meet the daily flight schedule.

The role applies advanced technical knowledge to diagnose complex problems, perform circuit analyses, and use high-end test instruments. Leads and guides lower level technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Shall have minimum 10 years USN/USMC/USCG CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
• Shall have minimum five years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain (P-8).
• Shall have T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain, with the last two years.
• Shall have experience as a QAR, CDI, CDQAR, Work Center Supervisor. In addition, the candidate shall be knowledgeable in automatic flight control systems, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance
• Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned T/M/S aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, weapons release and control checks.
• Shall participate on the aircraft conventional weapons load team and leadership roles as required.
• Follow daily flight schedule and perform heavy lifting of weights greater than 50lbs when needed.
• Provide technical guidance to lower level technicians and direct work center personnel as required.
