Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking experienced aviation maintenance personnel in Ridgecrest, CA to perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on aircraft systems, support daily flight schedules, and lead teams through maintenance tasks. Role requires lifting, potential ordnance handling, and coordination with supervisors.

The position emphasizes providing guidance to junior technicians and may require Plane Captain certification, security clearance, and flexibility for shifts and travel.

Qualifications

  • Shall have minimum of five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
  • Minimum five years Organizational Level Avionics/Electrical experience on F18 aircraft (24 of the 36 months within last 3 years preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems.
  • May be required to become Plane Captain certified in accordance with approved certification process for each T/M/S applicable to their background.
  • Experience as T/M/S CDI, CDQAR, Work Center Supervisor is required.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain or maintain a Deparment of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications.
  • Must be available to work any shift
  • Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required to accomplish maintenance tasking in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions.
  • Shall receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
