Job summary

Ruby Falls is seeking a part-time Tour Guide Team Member to lead visitors through the cave, delivering engaging commentary about its features and history. You will ensure guest safety, comfort, and a high level of customer service while welcoming diverse groups with enthusiasm.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to speak in front of groups, and a willingness to learn more about cave geology and safety procedures. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle diverse groups are essential.
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn about cave geology, history, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead tours for groups of visitors, delivering engaging commentary.
• Maintain safety and comfort for guests while delivering excellent service.
• Give 60–80 minute tours following established procedures.
• Answer guest questions and greet visitors warmly per guidelines.
• Coordinate with Admissions, maintenance, and management on issues.
• Be aware of emergency procedures and respond appropriately.
