Job summary

Natural Bridge Caverns is seeking an energetic Cavern Tour Guide to welcome guests, share engaging stories, and ensure every tour is exceptional. Training is provided in-house, so no prior tourism experience is required. When not guiding, you may work in retail or concessions, operate the POS system, and help keep facilities clean and presentable.

Qualifications

• Present themselves as happy, kind, knowledgeable, and patient when speaking to guests.
• Ability to operate the Point of Sale system when not guiding tours.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging cavern tours and share informative, entertaining stories with guests.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming demeanor and answer guest questions during tours.
• Assist with retail or concession duties when not in the cave, including POS tasks.
• Keep grounds and facilities clean and presentable for guests.
• Participate in in-house training during the first week of employment.

We’re looking for energetic employees who love learning and are looking to grow within our company. Tour Guides should present themselves as happy, kind, knowledgeable, and patient when speaking to guests. Every tour should be regarded as the best tour of the day. Even when our tour guides aren’t in the cave, they’ll be inside our retail or concession areas working our Point of Sale system or keeping our grounds and facilities clean and presentable. All training is done in-house, so experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is not required. Training can be done within the first week of employment and will be a mixture of hands-on approaches and one-on-one training.
