Job description

Professional Ag Marketing is seeking a Cattle Industry Development Lead to help drive the next chapter of

growth within our cattle division. This is a unique opportunity for a highly respected cattle industry

professional who wants to make a lasting impact on cattle producers and the industry as a whole.

This is not a traditional sales role. Instead, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, relationship-builder, and

industry ambassador, helping connect cattle producers with risk management solutions that strengthen

their operations and long-term success.

You'll spend your time where relationships are built and decisions are made: in feedyards, at ranches, in

sale barns, at industry events, and around the tables where producers gather. You'll establish meaningful

relationships with cattle feeders, cow-calf producers, lenders, veterinarians, nutritionists, consultants,

packers, and industry associations while identifying opportunities to expand Professional Ag Marketing's

reach and impact.

Working alongside a team of experienced risk management professionals, you'll help shape our strategy,

strengthen our industry presence, and play a critical role in building one of the most exciting growth

opportunities within our company.

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to:

  • Help lead and influence the future of Professional Ag Marketing's cattle division.
  • Become a recognized and trusted voice within the cattle industry.
  • Turn your network and industry knowledge into meaningful opportunities for producers.
  • Work alongside experts in risk management, insurance, and agricultural marketing.
  • Make a measurable impact on operations, families, and businesses across cattle country.
The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for the cattle industry and a deep understanding of producer challenges.
  • Is well-respected and highly connected within cattle production and allied industries.
  • Has a proven ability to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships.
  • Is energized by the opportunity to build, grow, and influence.
  • Has extensive knowledge of risk management tools and how they work.
  • Communicates effectively with producers, industry leaders, and business partners.
  • Has years of experience in the cattle industry with producers.
  • Enjoys travel and being present where the industry operates.
