Ag1Source - Executive Recruiting is seeking a proven General Manager to lead a growing agribusiness at a pivotal stage. You will set strategic direction, drive growth, and build a high-performance organization.

You will own the P&L, shape culture, and align operations across manufacturing, logistics, sales, and support to deliver sustainable results. This role reports to ownership and the board and requires executive presence in the industry.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in agribusiness or related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the business.
  • Owning full P&L, revenue growth, margins, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
  • Lead and align teams across operations, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, sales, customer support, and administration.
  • Develop and execute strategies driving sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Strengthen customer, dealer, channel partner, and stakeholder relationships.

  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, improve performance, and create followership.
  • Strong operational, manufacturing, and financial management expertise.
  • Experience building and maintaining high‑level customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholder groups and navigate complex business environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
  • High level of integrity, humility, accountability, and business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within cooperative, member‑owned, or agricultural retail organizations.
  • Background in feed, animal nutrition, grain, ingredients, or related agribusiness sectors.
  • Experience working within joint‑venture, multi‑brand, private‑label, or toll‑manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading transformational growth or large‑scale change initiatives.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
