Job summary

Nexus Integrity Management is seeking a CP Helper I to support field technicians in cathodic protection installation, testing, and maintenance on pipelines and related infrastructure. This entry-level role offers training and a clear path to CP Technician or NACE certification.

The position requires travel, outdoor work in all weather, and lifting 50+ pounds. You will assist with surveys, data collection, and equipment prep while upholding safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to travel regionally or nationally for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of cathodic protection systems for pipelines and facilities.
• Help perform CP surveys, including CIS, DCVG, and current testing under supervision.
• Support field setup and equipment preparation, including testing meters, cables, and data recorders.
• Collect and record field data accurately on paper forms, tablets, or digital devices.
• Travel frequently to job sites and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
