Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting seeks a Cathodic Protection Technician in Houston. This entry-level role requires extensive field travel and hands-on work installing, commissioning, monitoring, and repairing CP systems across assets.

You will learn from in-house experts while pursuing industry certifications and advancing toward CP design and engineering. The position offers substantial overtime during projects, company vehicle options, per diem, mileage, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Travel up to 75% for field assignments.
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle and off-road vehicles.
• Experience with general hand/power tools.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by adhering to LSC and client guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate and use testing equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data and prepare records and reports in a timely manner.
• Install, maintain and repair components of a cathodic protection system.
• Ensure work aligns with company goals and procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and management.
