Job summary

Lifepoint Health® seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and accurate results. You will collaborate with care teams to document and communicate findings, and support patient education throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the care team for transfers, discharges, referrals and psychosocial support, while ensuring ARRT standards and timely BLS/ACLS recertifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • ARRT registration in North Carolina required.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.

  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, provider, patient, and family following chain of command.

  • Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Act as advocate for physical and emotional well‑being of the patient, protecting patient’s rights.

Education

High school diploma or GED
ARRT registered in North Carolina
Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
ACLS certification within six months of hire
One year of experience preferred
