Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or commensurate healthcare experience required.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire date.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) licensure required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Interprets basic and advanced dysrhythmia, monitors EKGs, and operates physiologic recorder.
• Assists physician as scrub tech; operates imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Monitors patient status during procedures; hands supplies to scrub tech; assists circulator as needed.
