Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under physician direction. This role involves assisting with imaging, patient monitoring, and instrument handling during procedures in a high-volume hospital setting.

The position requires AHA ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT/TX RT(R) licensure in lieu of RCIS, with a typical 40-hour week and 10-hour shifts with call.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Interprets basic and advanced dysrhythmias and operates physiologic recorder.
• Assists physician with procedures as scrub tech and circulator while monitoring patient status.
