Qualifications

Overview

Location: Piedmont Newnan Cath Lab

Shift: PRN as needed

Responsibilities: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications: Education

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
