Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join our cardiovascular team in a full-time capacity. The role supports physicians during invasive cardiac procedures and requires thorough knowledge of Cath Lab equipment and patient care during procedures.

Candidates may be RN, RCIS, or RCES graduates with 2 years Cath Lab experience; GA licensure and BCLS/ACLS are required. This position contributes to high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an RN, RCIS, or RCES program with required licensure.
• 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience is required.
• Must hold Georgia licensure and BCLS/ACLS per hiring type.

Responsibilities

Overview

Cath Lab Tech, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown, SOB Available

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
