Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or healthcare or commensurate experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire or ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures, interpret dysrhythmia and EKGs, operate physiologic recorder and interpret pressures.
• Assist physician as scrub tech and operate imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Assist as circulator by monitoring patient status and handing supplies.
• Transport patients to and from department and maintain cath lab readiness and sterile technique.
