Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to support cardiology procedures in the cardiovascular lab. You will scrub and monitor physiologic data under physician supervision, ensuring room readiness and instrument supply par levels.

The role requires ARRT-R license or state requirements, RCIS, ACLS/BCLS, and basic computer skills; prior CV lab experience is preferred. This is a full-time daytime position with 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license as required by state or registered cardiovascular technologist.
• RCIS invasive specialist certification required.
• Prior cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• CV technologist training with emphasis on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Cath Lab Tech

Location: Southern Regional Medical Center; Riverdale, GA

Full Time - Call required | Days |10-hour Shifts |

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular
• Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
