Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Tech in Gadsden, AL to support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment. The role involves performing EKGs, assisting with catheterizations and interventional procedures, and monitoring patients during tests.

Shifts are days, assignment length is 12 weeks, with weekly pay ranging from $1,464 to $2,196 gross. Training and credentialing through BLS/ACLS and RCIS are expected as noted in the qualifications.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required on hire and current
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• ARRT-R license or RCIS preferred
• Cardiovascular lab training with invasive cardiology emphasis preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab experience required

Responsibilities

• Performed EKGs to assess cardiac rhythm and abnormalities.
• Assisted cardiologists with cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Supported angioplasty and stent placement procedures.
• Assisted with pacemaker and ICD implantation procedures.
• Prepared patients for cardiovascular tests and interventions, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitored vital signs during procedures and reported changes to physicians.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required within 30 days of hire
• Proficient computer skillsARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), preferred
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, preferred
• Minimum once (1) year of experience in a Cardiovascular Lab, required

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.60 to $54.90. This compensation estimate is specific to Alabama and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
