Ascension Health in Middleburg, FL at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital seeks a skilled cardiovascular specialist to perform physiological monitoring and support the multidisciplinary team during cardiac procedures.

The role requires licensure credentials and a strong focus on patient safety in a fast-paced setting. The position emphasizes BLS within 30 days of hire, CCI credentials, and preferred Advanced Life Support certification, with day shift and PRN options to support

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• CCI credential (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, and hemodynamic pressures.
• Anticipate procedural changes and adapt to physician needs during cardiac cases.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage high-level clinical testing, including cardiac output and oxygen saturation.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure safety protocols for infection and sharps control.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• One or more of the following required:

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
