Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL seeks a Cath Lab Tech (ARRT-R required) to join the Cardiology team. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, scrub in, monitor real-time hemodynamics, and uphold high patient safety standards.

This full-time Days position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, competitive compensation, and a strong benefits package. Previous Interventional Radiology experience is preferred, with BCLS and ACLS requirements,

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state license; VI preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures – work side-by-side with physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Own the procedure room – scrub in, maintain sterile technique, ensure readiness for seamless cases.
• Monitor real-time hemodynamic data that directly impacts patient outcomes.
• Keep operations running strong – manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness at a high level.
• Grow within a skilled team – support training, collaborate with peers, and be part of continuous improvement.
• Make an impact across cases – contribute to invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care – uphold top standards in patient safety, infection control, and compliance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
2. Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
3. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
5. Proficient computer skills.
