Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under cardiologist/radiologist supervision.

This full-time, dayshift position offers a 4x10 schedule (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) with a shared on-call rotation and a sign-on bonus of $10,000; compensation ranges $34.11–$49.41 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R registered and state license as required; VI preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients while documenting physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile instrumentation.
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Maintain procedure supplies and equipment readiness.
• Adhere to quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 4x10 Schedule 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with participation in a shared on-call rotation (30-minute response time).

Under the direction of the Cardiologist and/or Radiologist, the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist assists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

• ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
• Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
