Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to work at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring vital data, and ensuring the readiness of the procedure room.

The ideal candidate will hold an ARRT-R certification, with previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred. A comprehensive benefits package and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI preferred.
• Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures and monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared.
• Participate in staff meetings and training of new staff.

Shift: Mon-Fri, Days - 4 x 10 shift- rotating holidays and weekends including required on-call (Within 30-minutes); 7 am to 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

1. ARRT‑R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
2. Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
3. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
5. Proficient computer skills.
