Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist (PRN) at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA. You will assist with fluoroscopic and interventional vascular procedures, prep patients, maintain sterile technique, and document findings in the EMR.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and preferred ACLS; CPT/IR competencies and state licensure may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification required
• BLS certification required or obtained prior to direct patient care
• ACLS certification preferred
• Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography/IR ARRT/ARRT CV/ARRT a plus
• State licensure preferred depending on state rules

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
• Maintain sterile technique and document in EMR
• Review patient information and report critical findings
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
• Demonstrate non-invasive vascular exam proficiency
