Job summary

Banner Staffing Services-AZ is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join the Cath Lab, performing radiographic procedures and supporting the physician during cases. This registry/per diem position offers three 12-hour day shifts, with on-call requirements.

You will contribute to imaging, scrubbing, circulating and monitoring, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS where applicable.
Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures following orders and policies.
Educates patients and families about the procedure and safety.
Produces high quality images and prepares documents for interpretation.
Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures when applicable.
Performs quality control on equipment and maintains safety.
Maintains ethical, legal and professional radiology practices and confidentiality.
Ensures smooth workflow and adequate supplies for uninterrupted service.
Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures per policies and coordinates with team.
