Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join our fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab team. The role involves performing radiographic procedures, assisting during cases, and ensuring patient safety under departmental policies.

This full-time position requires recent radiologic technology credentialing with ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS where applicable. Evening, night, and weekend call within 30 minutes of campus is required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or <2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience with a radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification required by state law; licensure/certifications as required by state regulatory agency.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures per department policies.
• Educate patients/families about procedures; maintain professional conduct and teamwork.
• Produce high-quality images and prepare documentation for interpretation.
• Demonstrate competence in invasive/interventional procedures and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
