Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix is seeking a Special Procedure Technologist to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will support cardiac catheterization, device implants, EP, and TAVR procedures alongside experienced SPTs and physicians. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years Cath Lab experience, ARRT in Radiologic Technology, BLS, ACLS (PALS where applicable), and ability to cover weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 7:00 a.m.

– 7:30 p.m.). A $10K sign-on incentive and weekend differential up to 30% are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) as required by state law.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS where applicable.
• 3 years Cath Lab/EP or equivalent, or 5 years Cath Lab/EP with 2 years in moderate acuity environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assumes direct patient care and provides resources for clinical staff.
• Serves as primary education resource for equipment in the department.
• Facilitates patient flow and ensures safe, cost-effective care.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
• Supports process improvement and quality management activities.
