Job summary

Memorial Health in Illinois is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to perform technical work on patients in the Cath Lab and to assist physicians during procedures. You will operate X-ray equipment and maintain radiation safety.

Requirements include ARRT certification, ACLS, EKG training, and at least two years in Cardiac Special Procedures. Radiation safety coursework within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved School of Radiology or equivalent training.
• Illinois license/ARRT certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Two years experience as Cardiac Special Procedures Tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical work on patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Position Type: On-site

Job Description Summary: Perform responsible technical work on patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsible for the operation of various types of equipment and apparatus in providing assistance and support to the physicians performing procedures. Responsible for the proper operation of x-ray equipment and radiation safety.

Schedule Full Time, Day Shift $20,000-$40,000 Sign-on Bonus! Additional Cath Lab $20 per hour Incentive Pay for all shifts worked once orientation is completed.

Education: Graduate of approved School of Radiology or equivalent training (if hired before September, 1990).

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

• Illinois Department of Illinois Emergence Management Agency Division of Nuclear Safety license required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate required.
• Has successfully completed a basic EKG class within one year of hire.
• ACLS certification required.

Experience: Has a minimum of two year’s experience as a Cardiac Special Procedures Tech.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment is required.

Pay Transparency $29.44 - $45.64 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
