Job Description Summary

Performs radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level for all age groups.

Education

Must be a graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology; must achieve ARRT registration and Illinois State License, must maintain educational requirements for licensure and registration. Must maintain up-dated licensure and registration. Completion of initial and/or annual competencies as specified by Department Manager to fulfill accrediting body requirements.

Environmental Factors

Occasional exposure to moderate environmental variations, above-normal noise levels, and/or unpleasant substances; daily exposure to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions such as radiation and blood/ body fluids.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Moderate to heavy physical exertion, standing 80% of the time; frequent bending and reaching (80 inches from the floor); occasional lifting and carrying of loads 5 to 75 pounds. Must be able to assist average size person (150 pounds) to and from X-ray table, etc., in normal course of work; upon occasion must be able to support average person for approximately two minutes.

Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions. Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.

Pay Transparency

$31.51 - $48.83 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
